Things to Know about Where you May be Working
Exclusively at Department of Defense (DOD) Sites
All employment positions posted on this site are custodial and floor-care roles performed exclusively at Department of Defense facilities located at Joint Base Lindsey Graham (JBLG), South Carolina..
Joint Base Lindsey Graham is composed of two primary installations: JBLG–Air Base (North Charleston) — Home to Air Force operations and tenant units from multiple branches. JBLG–Naval Weapons Station (Goose Creek) — Supporting Navy, Army, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard missions, including the South Annex located in Hanahan. Employees assigned to these contracts provide essential facility support that directly contributes to mission readiness across multiple military branches.
Access, Identification, and Security Requirements Department of Defense installations are controlled federal areas, which means public access is restricted and granted only for official business or authorized purposes. These measures protect military personnel, resources, and sensitive information critical to national security. REAL ID Requirement The REAL ID Act establishes minimum security standards for state-issued identification. Beginning May 7, 2025, individuals must present a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or ID to access certain federal facilities. Joint Base Lindsey Graham already enforces REAL ID compliance for all visitors, contractors, and employees requiring base access.
Important Conduct Guidelines on DoD Property Unless specifically authorized in writing by the appropriate Joint Base Lindsey Graham authorities, individuals may not engage in any of the following activities on JBLG military reservations: Conduct protests, demonstrations, sit-ins, or public speeches promoting any political point of view. Participate in partisan political campaigning or electioneering. Distribute or display commercial advertising or solicit business. Interrupt or interfere with military formations, ceremonies, classes, or official functions. Obstruct or impede movement on streets, sidewalks, pathways, or facility access points. These rules exist to ensure that operational areas remain secure, orderly, and free of disruptions that could impact military missions or personnel safety.
